Kung fu empowers, and with this power comes responsibility. Silent River Kung Fu’s Pandamonium project is an important aspect of our intelligent curriculum that teaches empathy through raising awareness of social issues and how they affect everyone.
Once a year, Silent River Kung Fu students voluntarily obtain sponsorship and raise money for charity by taking part in a 24 hour endurance sweat-fest of perpetual kung fu known as the Pandamonium. All funds raised through this project are forwarded to the Silent River Benevolent Foundation, a non-profit organization for charitable purposes registered in the province of Alberta, and go towards supporting The Simon Poultney Foundation, Healing Hands of Katmandu/India, The Children’s Ability Fund, Atsikana Pa Ulendo (Malawi Girls on the Move), and SCARS - Second Chance Animal Rescue Society.
Please support this fundraising initiative by sponsoring one minute of our Pandamonium for $15.
