2026 Farmers Day Parade
Silent River Kung Fu will be participating once again in Stony Plain’s Farmers Days Parade on Saturday, June 6, 2026. All students are welcome to attend and ride the float with us. If you are interested in doing so, this is what you need to know;
We are marshalling at 7:30am. Students do not need to be present for the marshalling, but MUST be in attendance by no later than 9:45am. The parade begins at 10am sharp.
There will be a drop off loop around the Brown Street Playground. This is drop and go only. Access to Brown Street and this loop will be closed at 8:45am sharp. Any arrivals after 8:45am must find parking elsewhere and walk to the marshalling area.
Any children 12 yrs or younger MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We are NOT permitted to get on/off the float during the parade.
If possible, all attendees will ride on the float. If we do not have enough room, ADULTS ONLY may walk beside the float.
Throwing candy, etc. is not permitted, as per the Town of Stony Plain.
Please let us know prior to Saturday if you plan to attend.
As stated, we are scheduled to Marshall at 7:30am sharp, along 50th Avenue between 48 Street and Brown Street. Any children who are 13 yrs or older and who are attending without a parent/guardian must be picked up promptly at the end of the parade.
Everyone is welcome! Make sure to come in your fanciest attire (uniforms).
The forecast is currently calling for sun and rain, so make sure you bring your sunscreen, water and a hat!
