2025 Farmers’ Days Parade- Info and Times
Silent River Kung Fu will be participating once again in Stony Plain’s Farmers Days Parade on Saturday, May 31, 2025. All students are welcome to attend and ride the float with us. If you are interested in doing so, this is what you need to know;
We are marshalling at 8am. Students do not need to be present for the marshalling, but MUST be in attendance by no later than 9:45am. The parade begins at 10am sharp.
The drop off zone is on 49th Ave; you will be able to pull into the Burger King parking lot on 49th Ave to turn around and leave. This needs to be timely.
Any children 12 yrs or younger MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We are not permitted to get on/off the float during the parade.
If possible, all attendees will ride on the float. If we do not have enough room, ADULTS ONLY may walk beside the float.
Throwing candy, etc. is not permitted, as per the Town of Stony Plain.
As stated, we are scheduled to Marshall at 8am sharp, at Entry Point A (Brown Street). Any children who are 13 yrs or older and who are attending without a parent/guardian must be picked up promptly at the end of the parade.
Everyone is welcome! Make sure to come in your fanciest attire (uniforms).
It also looks to be gearing up to be a beautiful and HOT day, so make sure you bring your sunscreen, water and a hat!
